We traveled to St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, Ventura County, for its annual Open House and met up with Seminarian Ivan Lopez, former resident seminarian at San Francisco Solano. We toured the chapel, library, classrooms, living quarters, recreation room, canteen and grounds.
We also learned what a typical day is like for a seminarian, including hours for prayer and meditation and classroom instruction.
