FATHER ROBERT SPITZER COMES TO EWTN

The Jesuit priest, author and former president of Gonzaga University will host a new television show on EWTN beginning Nov. 25

A new TV show named “Father Spitzer’s Universe” will debut on the Eternal Word Television Network this week, featuring the well-known Father Robert Spitzer. The one-hour show will be broadcast from the EWTN studios located in the Tower of Hope on Christ Cathedral Campus in Garden Grove and air on various days and times each week.

The program will put Fr. Spitzer on center stage, answering questions on a range of faith-related subjects from suffering to virtue to the very existence of God. He is well equipped to host the show, having published six books including “New Proofs for the Existence of God: Contributions of Contemporary Physics and Philosophy” (Eerdmans, 2010), for which he won the Catholic Press Association’s Award for best book in faith and science. Fr. Spitzer is currently president of the Magis Center and the Spitzer Center.
