THE YEAR OF HAZEL SERIES
The Year of Hazel series featuring the newly restored Hazel Wright Organ at Christ Cathedral continued on Feb. 4 with Chelsea Chen in Concert.

Chen, an internationally renowned musician, performed an eclectic mix that included classical favorites by Verdi and Debussy — even music from “Star Wars”!

The Year of Hazel’s next concerts will feature the cathedral’s very own Dr. Emma Whitten and David Ball.

Whitten, the associate organist, is playing on May 3. Ball, the principal organist and head of music ministry, is performing on May 17.

There is also a concert featuring the Cathedral Organ Scholars on May 31, as well as a grand performance with Paul Jacobs, the Pacific Symphony and Pacific Chorale on June 20.
