United Health Share Ministries (UHSM), a Virginia-based Christian healthcare organization, on Dec. 18 presented the Orange Catholic Foundation with $25,000 in Northgate Market gift cards. The cards will help families that are struggling to put food on the table during the current economic crisis.
Northgate Markets, located in Santa Ana, Anaheim, Placentia and Buena Park, offer groceries favored by the Hispanic community, as well as premade Mexican meals.
UHSM is a Christian health-sharing ministry in which the members share the cost of medical care for all.
The gift cards were presented during the Orange Catholic Foundation’s December food drive, in conjunction with Catholic Charities Orange County.
Kimberly Jetton, executive director of the Orange Catholic Foundation said, “We are incredibly grateful to UHSM for this generous gift! We pray that this gift will help hundreds of our brothers and sisters in need during this extraordinary time.”
