St. Catherine’s Academy (SCA), located in the historic part of Anaheim, will be hosting its 29th Annual Golf Tournament on May 20 at the private Hacienda Golf Club. The special fundraiser will raise important funds for tuition scholarships for underserved students.
St. Catherine’s Academy (SCA) is an all-boys’ Catholic school with a military tradition, and the only school of this type in the United States. Its annual golf fundraiser will again focus on funds to provide scholarships and grants to enable young students to achieve their academic dreams. Support of this event will help the Academy continue to fulfill its mission of educating young men to become leaders of tomorrow, with self-confidence, honor, service, and integrity.
This year, SCA will be honoring the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, proud founders of the
Academy, and will also be celebrating a huge milestone of educating young men for 130 years.
“On behalf of the Sisters of Mission San Jose, we are honored to educate boys with strong Catholic values, a challenging education and a rich military tradition that helps shape them into fine young men of their generation,” said Sister Johnellen, OP, President/Administrator of St. Catherine’s Academy.
Registration was followed by a continental breakfast. Shotgun will began at 11:00 a.m. A dinner, live and silent auction opportunity followed.
