Sr. Susan Slater, SHCJ ‘65, recently celebrated her golden jubilee in the religious profession. She was recognized in a special Mass on August 25, 2018, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Sr. Susan’s relationship with Cornelia Connelly School in Anaheim began as a student at the all-girls, independent, Catholic high school. She was part of the first graduating class in 1965, some of whom were present at the celebratory Mass. She later became a sister with the SHCJ (Society of Holy Child Jesus), and even returned to teach at Connelly from 1974-1978.
