NEW OCF BOARD MEMBERS NAMED

DAVID BOYNTON, NEIL O’CONNOR WILL SERVE WITH THE CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING CORPORATION

GARDEN GROVE — David Boynton, a financial advisor from Orange, and Neil O’Connor, a mortuary president and CEO from San Juan Capistrano, were recently installed as the newest members of the board of directors of the Orange Catholic Foundation (OCF).

Boynton is currently an agent and financial advisor for the New York Life Insurance Co. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Rutgers University. He serves on the current board of the Kairos Prison Ministry and First Friday Friars and has been an OCF Wills and Trusts Week advisor and participant and an Orange County Cursillo team member. A parishioner at Holy Family Cathedral, Boynton specializes in individual and corporate planning for life insurance, estate conservation, college funding, charitable giving, long-term care and retirement planning

O’Connor is president and CEO of O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills. A Navy veteran, he is a parishioner at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano and currently serves on the board of directors of the Interfaith Council of South Orange County and the advisory council of the Trauma Intervention Program. He is a past member of the boards of directors of the Saddleback Hospital Foundation, Age Well Senior Services, and the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce.

The OCF is a charitable corporation that serves the Diocese of Orange, its parishes and schools through fundraising programs such as the Proud to be Catholic Pastoral Services Appeal, the For Christ Forever Capital Campaign and other events. It also manages endowments and various charitable funds and grants funds.
