HIS ROLE AS A DEACON: Assist with the sacraments in the church as well as serve as a chaplain to the hospital, jail, Legion of Mary, Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul Society
HIS MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE: In the hospital, I had a very aggressive and intimidating man swearing at and threatening me, only to have him dropping to his knees in prayer by the end of the visit
HIS GREATEST CHALLENGE: Ministering to families who have lost a child, or whose child is dying
WHAT THEY DO FOR FUN: Take short trips to quiet places
HOW HE WAS CALLED TO THE DIACONATE: I always had a passion for Christ and the Church, and the invitation to the diaconate fulfilled that passion
