California Love Drop, a coalition of businesses that are helping front-line workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, visited St. Bonaventure and Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic schools on Wednesday, Dec. 17. The teachers and staff of the two Huntington Beach campuses received food donations as a thank-you for their hard work.
The Love Drop crews are supported by business partners like Unite Health Share Ministries (UHSM), Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Yogurtland, Vans, Hint Water, Monster Energy and others. Love Drop began in April with a delivery of 300 meals from Wahoo’s to Hoag Hospital in Irvine. Guided by the belief in the “power of humanity and the significant impact a delicious meal can have on uplifting spirits,” Love Drop has since grown to deliver more than 11,000 meals at more than 60 different locations.
