Ash Wednesday falls on Feb. 26 this year. That means that Friday Fish Fry will begin at many Catholic Churches on Feb. 28.
The St. Irenaeus Knights of Columbus Cypress Council will once again be hosting its annual Fish Fry dinners throughout the Lenten season, on six consecutive Fridays, beginning Feb. 28 and continuing through April 3.
Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. in the St. Irenaeus Parish Hall, located at 5201 Evergreen Ave. in Cypress. The cost of a full dinner of fish, fries, and coleslaw is just $8.
Everyone is invited to enjoy a delicious dinner out with someone else doing the cooking.
According to the church’s calendar, confession begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m.
