Fashion, fun, fundraising … it’s all part of one of the most-celebrated charity events in Orange County, the Gentlemen’s Haberdashery. The luncheon event, set for April 11 at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, will bring together the region’s top male business and community leaders as models of men’s fashion. The fundraiser supports the Heart of Jesus Retreat Center in Santa Ana, which is operated by the Sisters of the Society Devoted to the Sacred Heart.
Returning as the Haberdashery co-chairpersons are Rancho Mission Viejo family members Frandy and Jeremy Laster with Trina and Mark Lamkin.
Trina Lamkin, Rancho Mission Viejo’s Vice President-Family Office, said of the event: “The Haberdashery brings people together for an afternoon of great fun, fashion and fellowship, all centered on securing much-needed funding for the Sisters’ Heart of Jesus Retreat Center.”
“The Gentlemen’s Haberdashery is a ‘not to miss’ event,” Rancho Mission Viejo’s Vice President-Treasurer Jeremy Laster said, “because it showcases the caring works of the Sisters through an afternoon of red carpet entries, pre-event and post-event cocktail hours, fashion-forward clothing for nearly every occasion, and, of course, the faces and voices of the children we all gather to support.”
The Heart of Jesus Retreat Center is located at 2927 S. Greenville St., Santa Ana, CA 92704. At the Center, the Sacred Heart Sisters provide a wide range of ministries including parent and child retreats, K-8th grade retreats, youth retreats, the Sacred Heart Kids’ Club, adult retreats and other retreats for various groups.
The Retreat Center serves local Southern California counties including Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside.
