CHRIST CATHEDRAL HITS THE ROAD

CONSTRUCTION MODELS DETAILING THE CATHEDRAL’S RENOVATION WILL BE THE SUBJECT OF A SERIES OF PRESENTATIONS AT PARISHES

The transformed Christ Cathedral of the future will go on the road beginning Jan. 29 as part of a series of presentations highlighting the details of the cathedral’s renovation and offering personal thanks to parishioners throughout the Diocese of Orange who have generously contributed to the work through the For Christ Forever Capital Campaign.

Construction models and renderings of the cathedral in various stages of transformation will travel to six parishes throughout the diocese, as well as to the Religious Education Congress at the Anaheim Convention Center. Presentations at each stop will be made by Monsignor Art Holquin, S.T.L., the diocese’s Episcopal Vicar for Divine Worship. While the presentations by Monsignor Holquin will be on specific days, the construction displays will be available for viewing at the parishes for several days.

Presentation dates are:

San Francisco Solano Church: Jan. 29

St. Edward the Confessor Church:  Feb. 12

Holy Family Cathedral: Feb. 19

Our Lady Queen of Angels Church:  Feb. 26

Sts. Simon and Jude Church: March 5

Religious Education Congress:  March 13-15

St. Angela Merici Church: March 19
