CATHOLIC LEADERS CONVENE

DIOCESE OF ORANGE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE USCCB CONVOCATION OF CATHOLIC LEADERS

A delegation from the Diocese of Orange is in Orlando, FL this week, joining others from across the country at the Convocation of Catholic Leaders Conference, July 1 to July 4. The summer conference is said to be an unprecedented invitation-only gathering that will focus on the challenges and opportunities the Church faces today.

 

 

Key presenters include Cardinals Dolan, DiNardo, O’Malley and Wuerl, among others. According to the event website, the conference was inspired by Evangelii Gaudium. After attending, leaders will be well equipped to share the Gospel as missionary disciples.

Representing the Diocese of Orange will be Bishop Timothy Freyer; Director of the Office of Pastoral Care for Families in All Stages Michael Donaldson; Director of the Office of Life, Justice and Peace Greg Walgenbach; Director of Youth and Young Adults Armando Cervantes; Mission Office Director Marissa Cornejo; and Director of Parish Faith Formation Katie Dawson.
