INSPIRATIONAL CATHOLIC WOMEN
Catholic Charities Auxiliary’s Inspirational Catholic Women, Servants for Christ benefit dinner will be held on Friday, April 28 at Christ Cathedral Arboretum in Garden Grove.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate women volunteers from across Orange County whose leadership and commitment help advance the Catholic Church’s mission to serve people in need. For more information and to register, visit ccoc.org/auxiliary

SACRAMENT SERIES FOR ADULTS
The Sacred Heart Sisters will be holding a monthly series for adults on the Sacraments on the following dates: April 8 and 9 and 15 and 16, and May 6 and 7 and 13 and 14. There are two options for time: 10 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

SPRING CHOIR CONCERT
Under the leadership of Jodi Reed, director of Choral and Vocal Music at Mater Dei High School, the Junior High Honor Choir, comprising students in grades 6-8, from 34 private, charter and public schools across Southern California, joined Mater Dei choirs at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. The concert was held on March 21 before an audience of over 2,000.

The choir performed music from Haiti, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Latvia, Finland, United States and Italy, singing in the languages of the countries.

The choir provides educational and social benefits to both the school and the students.

Performing Arts Coordinator Marisa Winch observed, “We deeply believe in fostering the talents of our students so they will grow into more well-rounded students and individuals.”
