Don Hunsberger has a 40-year history of service to the Church and the community: Cursillo, First Friday Friars and as a Sacramental teacher. He is also a Board member of Orange Catholic Foundation, Saint Joseph Hospital and St. Thomas More Society. Don has been involved in the Boy Scouts for 48 years. He also is active in Kairos Prison Ministry. Besides his involvement in these ministries Don epitomizes Christian discipleship, running the gamut from humble service to the homeless to advising the Bishop and many Catholic corporate bodies on legal and spiritual matters. Don has always ‘lived’ and ‘integrated’ his Catholic faith by living what he teaches his Boy Scouts: Be trustworthy, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. St. Thomas More Society of O.C. nominated Hunsberger for the award.
