OUR LADY OF LAVANG SHRINE

Some 3,000 faithful gathered on the campus of Christ Cathedral on Saturday, Oct. 21, to be part of the blessing of the site of the future Our Lady of LaVang Shrine. 

The large outdoor Mass was attended by the many Vietnamese Catholics who look forward to the construction of the shrine that honors the Blessed Mother and commemorates her appearance, care and protection of those who fled their homeland after the fall of Saigon in 1975.
