He spent years overseas in places ranging from Africa to Abidjan, teaching and sharing the message of Christianity. Somewhere along the way, he and his family felt a tug to convert to Catholicism. He eventually jumped in with enthusiasm. His son Scott took that commitment even further by eventually being ordained a Catholic priest. (Currently serving in the Diocese of Orange).
