Welcome to another episode of Cathedral Square featuring your host, Fr. Christopher Smith.
Today, we’ll be talking about Catholic social teaching and restorative justice. Joining Fr. Christopher in-studio is a gentleman named Fred LaPuzza. Fred is the Director of the Office of Restorative Justice for the Diocese of Orange. Among other things, the restorative justice ministry targets those who are incarcerated in our jail systems in Orange County. They help to bring awareness about their work to local parishes and the community as a whole; and, they advocate for laws that are in line with Catholic social teaching and the Gospel.
