People who have lost a loved one to homicide or any other act of violence often live in isolation and in overwhelming grief. The immensity of such emotional suffering can seem unbearable, leaving loved ones feeling alone or abandoned by society and, sometimes, even by our Church.
The Diocese of Orange Restorative Justice Ministry seeks to help heal the relational harm caused by crime and violence by providing caring support and resources for those suffering such a tragic loss.
If you are suffering the loss of your loved one due to homicide or another act of violence, the Diocesan Office of Restorative Justice would like to learn more about how our Church can better serve and support you. We would like to invite you to come and share your personal experience, thoughts, and ideas with us in a safe and caring listening environment.
We will be meeting on Oct. 17 from 7-9 p.m. in the Pastoral Center on the campus of Christ Cathedral. Address: 13280 Chapman Ave. Garden Grove, CA. 92840.
Refreshments will be served. Childcare will be available if requested at time of RSVP.
RSVP required at: 714-282-4261 or [email protected]
