ONELIFE LA 2020 SET FOR JAN. 18

ANNUAL MARCH BRINGS ATTENTION TO DIGNITY OF LIFE

By Greg Walgenbach     1/8/2020

There’s nothing like walking through Southern California to be reminded of the beauty, dignity, and diversity of life! Orange County participants at the 2019 OneLife LA event walked through downtown L.A.’s Chinatown on a street named after labor leader and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez. They listened to prayers and songs in multiple languages, and lifted up the needs and concerns of those at the margins and those most in need.

As we witness to and advocate for those most in need, we often come to realize that we are among those most in need of conversion of heart, of commitment to justice, of renewal of relationship with Jesus who calls us to receive his mercy and to live more fully in the Kingdom of God. OneLife LA is a Southern California walk for life that offers participants a countercultural way to witness to the beauty and dignity of every human life in keeping with the Gospel and Catholic social teaching (which does not conform to our hyper partisan and polarized politics). Come out for a breath of fresh air and to see how the Holy Spirit is moving in hearts young and old to unite us to one another and to protect the vulnerable.
