We decided to take a family trip to Europe in the summer of 2025 as a sendoff to our son, who was going away to college. He planned the itinerary for the entire trip, touring churches and cathedrals in every town. Of course, our favorite was the Vatican and experiencing the rare occasion of entering through the Holy Door. What a blessing to witness our son seeing the Vatican for the very first time on this Jubilee year.
Another treasured moment was attending Mass, celebrated in Gregorian chant, at the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. Seeing the history of our faith with our own eyes was a trip of a lifetime. It will forever be a cherished moment for our family.
