Remember the ice bucket challenge? It was a fundraiser for ALS and it took the social media world by storm last year. Well, look out because just in time for the Pope’s visit to the U.S. next week, we now have Joke with the Pope, an interactive digital fundraising campaign created by the Pontifical Mission Societies, the Catholic Church’s official support organization for overseas missions.

The campaign designed to bring attention to three featured causes and allow you to donate through the organization’s new Missio app (http://www.missioapp.org). The best jokester, however, will also be named the Pope’s official comedic advisor.

Here’s a look at the joke donated by comedian Conan O’Brien.

Comedians can upload their jokes online through Oct. 2. Jokes can be promoted and shared through social media through Oct. 4 at midnight. And on Oct. 5 the winner of the title “Honorary Comedic Advisor to the Pope” will be announced and that cause associated with that comedian will receive a $10,000 donation.

Students at Christ Cathedral Academy are vying for the title. Check out their contributions in the video below.
