St. Joseph Health has announced that Jill Duplechan has been named chief operating officer of St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare (Heritage)’s Southern California region. With five medical groups and five affiliated physician networks throughout Orange County and the High Desert, Heritage is one of the largest physician practice management organizations in California.
Duplechan succeeds Kevin Manemann, who served as COO of Heritage from 2012-2015 and transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer of the organization earlier this year. As COO of Heritage’s Southern California region, Duplechan will oversee physician practice operations for all Heritage medical groups and affiliated physician networks, while supporting Heritage’s efforts to deliver compassionate care for patients and drive innovation to improve care for the community and lower costs.
Duplechan has more than 25 years of leadership experience and has overseen planning, patient care and business functions for medical group departments and associated hospital/clinical areas. She also has led and guided the development and implementation of programs to improve performance and reduce costs for the community.
