6/2/2022

Host Rick Howick welcomes two distinguished guests to the studio for today’s podcast: Fr. Al Baca, the Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation for the Diocese of Orange; and Deacon Modesto Cordero, he’s the Director of The Office of Worship. Together they will discuss a groundbreaking proposal in the life of the Catholic church worldwide.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has launched the National Eucharistic Revival, a three-year grassroots initiative of devotion and faith in the Real Jesus in the Eucharist.

The Diocese of Orange will kickstart this initiative locally on Saturday, June 18 with Mass and a Eucharistic Procession led by Bishop Timothy Freyer. Mass begins at 4:30 p.m. at Christ Cathedral, with a procession around the campus to follow. The Office for Worship has launched a page on the Diocese of Orange’s website for the initiative: www.rcbo.org/revival.
