Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton has re-launched its small adult faith sharing groups, using Bishop Robert Barron’s Word on Fire Engage Mini-Series library. More than 70 adults attended the 90-minute re-launch event and many more attended the small group discussions. Attendees joined one of the 15 study groups, each with about 10 to 20 members. The goal: to encourage faith sharing among adults in order to strengthen the faith of all.
Over the past year the topics have included, Who is Jesus, Teachings of Christ, Sin and Suffering, Risen Christ, and Heroes of the Faith.
Father Paul Trinh began the event with Mass, followed by dinner and keynote speaker Katie Dawson, director of Faith Formation at the Diocese of Orange. The group participated in an opening and closing prayer and a blessing by Deacon Steve Grecco.
