A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN…SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE HALOS

Bring your little angels for Catholic Night at Angel Stadium

By Staff     6/12/2015

“Hey, is this heaven?” That’s the question posed by Ray Liotta’s character, Shoeless Joe Jackson, in the beloved movie “Field of Dreams.” [Read about OC Catholic Editor Patrick Mott’s visit to the actual “Field of Dreams.“] For diehard baseball fans, that’s exactly what sitting in the ballpark and watching a game is…heaven. There is nothing like it. The carefully manicured grass, the perfectly drawn chalk lines, the crack of the bat during batting practice–it’s all part of the experience. And, if you’re watching an Angel game, you just might get to see Albert Pujols smack a home run. All this, while sitting next to your family and cheering on the home team. It doesn’t get much better. Wait a minute. It does!

On Saturday, June 27, you can share that experience with hundreds of other Orange County Catholics, also Angels fans, during Catholic Night at Angel Stadium. And while it’s not a double header, there’ll be double the fun because right after the game, fans are invited to go down to the field to enjoy a family movie! As dusk settles in, you’ll be sitting in the outfield enjoying a special stadium screening of “Finding Nemo.”

Specially priced tickets, group seating and a great matchup are in store as the Angels take on the Seattle Mariners. Game time is 4:15 p.m. Get a discounted price on seats in Field Reserved, Field Box, Terrace Box, Right Field Pavilion, Right Field MVP Terrace Box WC, or Terrace All-Star WC. This special offer is available online only.
